When I crochet I usually crochet with acrylic. I hardly ever make any crochet hats or purses with cotton. I decided that for this summer I would try something new, since I am crocheting this summer and most people like something cool for summer time. I found this awesome pattern at http://www.susanlinnstudio.etsy.com/. It was something new and I am always on the hunt for something new in the crochet world. :) At first it was kind of difficult but finally decided it was fun and it turned out so elegant looking. This summer crochet hat is soft airy and super cute. It would be perfect for a newborn baby girl and a for her first photo session. Crochet summer hats are super popular of course being summer and all, but the material is different since it is made with size 10 crochet cotton thread.
